June 19th 2007 - News Breaks that QE2 is to become a Hotel in Dubai

I was at work when my Google news alert suddenly poured in news stories about the QE2 - all with the same headline - QE2 is to to make her final voyage at the end of 2008 - earlier than most experts had thought possible - and to Dubai of all places!

Those of us with a passion for this wonderful ship, went through a mix of emotions.  My first reaction was to book 2 cruises on the QE2 before it was too late.
